An excellent double-page feature has been written about PSS’s remanufacturing capabilities and products in the June edition of Commercial Vehicle Workshop.
CVW magazine caters for professionals responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of commercial vehicles, and it is the leading source of information on business, technical advances and product innovations for workshop owners, managers and technicians at independent, fleet, bus and coach, local authority and emergency vehicle workshops throughout the UK.
As part of our continued and growing commitment to the environment, PSS has installed an incredible 800 solar panels across the two units at our site address. Solar energy is not only sustainable, it is renewable and is about as natural a source of power that is possible.
This energy efficient undertaking is designed to significantly reduce the company’s carbon foot print, coupled with a reduction in energy costs to further enhance our “lean manufacturing” methodology. It also aids our strategy of driving down the costs of production, so that we are able to keep our pricing structure competitive whilst maintaining the exceptional quality standards that our customer base relies upon.
A new flyer for the remanufacturing business in Europe has been produced by APRA, CLEPA and FIRM. The flyer details some of the key ecological, social and ethical advantages of using remanufactured parts, as well as outlining some of the industry supported definitions of remanufactured parts and core.
